Powerplay is a Northwest Michigan classic rock/variety band. Powerplay specializes in fun, danceable and recognizable songs. We play the hits that everybody wants to dance and have fun to. The name of the band comes from the origin of the members themselves. When this group started in 2006 the members had children in local youth hockey. We formed the group originally to do charity benefits for the youth hockey associations.

All the members in this band have been involved in recording original music both together and separately (solo and group). Our members currently maintain quite an array of musical participation outside of Powerplay including Blues, Country, Light Rock and Worship Bands. After we played those first few shows together we knew we had something special. The fun we were having, the crowd response and subsequent offers to play out lead us to hit the road, again!

We have been playing all over the state of Michigan bringing our brand of fun to Bars, Casinos, Festivals, Fairs, Harley-Davidson events, and Private Parties ever since. Crowd interaction and participation are key to the Powerplay show. If you want to dance and have a great time...then Powerplay is your GOAL!
